I liked the discreet wording of the invoice from a delivery of lobsters and fish. They could have said "make sure they're not dead" or make sure they're alive but no....they go for checking mortality! You wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of any lobsters...at least, the live ones.
I was nearly the victim of falling packages of insulation this morning. The strapping came loose as a pallet loaded with bags of insulation was being unloaded from a flatbed truck by forklift. The bags fell off the truck onto the sidewalk on the other side from the forklift. The bags bounced a little so I think there was little chance of serious injury but I was glad to not start the day under big bags of insulation.
