This is the miracle Survivor Tree, a callery pear tree. Its charred trunk was pulled from the wreckage at Ground Zero and nurtured back to health in the Bronx. When the park at the 911 Memorial was ready for it the tree was transplanted once again. It was around 6 feet tall and now is about 46 feet tall.
