The red building was the site of a fire at 3:30am one morning. The building was empty for reconstruction when flames were seen out the upper floor windows. It became a 5 alarm fire and fire trucks were all over the place when I left for work. People were evacuated from the neighboring buildings but in the end no one was hurt. The street remains closed to traffic even after the building was determined to be structurally safe.
