I don't know anything about this memorial. I may not have noticed it on the sidewalk except for the candles. Somebody misses Carmen.

I had occasionally seen a couple of these beat up white bikes around the city but had never paid attention to what they mean. While it's a fitting memorial and a reminder to drive carefully it's amazing that the city allows the bikes to remain.
