Library Plaque
This is one of "my" libraries. I live equidistant between two branches of the New York Public Library. This 1906 branch is one of 65 that were built using funds from Andrew Carnegie.
These small branches don't have a lot of books on the premises but you can request a book from the NYPL system and it will be delivered to the branch of your choice.
This year the city allocated more funds to the libraries and now there are extended hours which make it easier to get in the door! My other local branch is even open on Sunday afternoons.
